Puget Sound’s Chun awarded twice

Christina Chun made 1,004 digs in her career with the Loggers.

Puget Sound senior Christina Chun was honored with the Highest GPA award as well as the Roberta Wilson Award for scholarship, skill and determination at the school’s all-sports celebration last week.

Chun, a four-year letter winner on the women’s volleyball team, has a 3.92 GPA, which is the highest of any Puget Sound graduating student-athlete this year.

The 2010 Maryknoll alumna was second-team All-Northwest Conference as a junior and honorable mention as a senior. She was the only Logger to appear in all 25 matches and 95 sets this season and tallied a team-best 424 digs to finish seventh in the conference.

She also had 23 aces and finishes her career with 1,004 digs.
