U.S. Coast Guard, Maui fire, police and lifeguards continued a search this morning for a missing snorkeler in the Black Rock Beach area of Maui.

They are looking for signs of a 54-year old woman last seen at 3 p.m. approximately 150 yards from the Sheraton Maui Resort and Spa wearing a blue swimsuit and fins yesterday afternoon.

A self-locating data marker buoy was deployed at her last known position yesterday to track drift patterns.

The Coast Guard  dispatched a 45-foot response boat from Maui and a HH-65 Dolphin helicopter from Barbers Point to assist in the search.

The Coast Guard searched through the night for the woman. Maui rescue crews were scheduled to re-join the search this morning.
