The two town-bound right lanes on the H-1 Freeway from the Makakilo Interchange to the Kualakai Parkway will be closed nightly starting tonight for about two weeks from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. for retrofit work, the Department of Transportation said.

All on-ramps and off-ramps will still be open.

However, the Makakilo/Kapolei/Kalaeloa off-ramp on the H-1 Freeway in the town-bound direction remains closed until work is finished on Phase I of the new Kapolei Interchange Complex, the Transportation Department said. Motorists may use Campbell Industrial Park/Barbers Point Harbor off-ramp (Exit 1A) to Kapolei Parkway and Kamokila Boulevard as an alternative route.
