An autopsy determined that a man involved in a single-car crash in Kihei Monday did not die from injuries received in the crash, Maui police said.

Terry Eoff, 58, of Kihei, was driving a 2006 Suzuki sedan east on Kilohana Drive, police said. About 5:50 p.m., one-tenth of a mile east of Waikai Street, the car veered left, hit a curb and a utility pole support wire, and overturned, police said.

Eoff was taken to Maui Memorial Medical Center in critical condition. He later died.
