One mauka-bound lane of Kaimalie Street in Ewa Beach was closed this afternoon following a critical mo-ped accident.
The accident involving a vehicle and a mo-ped happened near Fort Weaver Road about 4:15 p.m., police said. The man, in his 70s, was pushing a mo-ped when a vehicle hit him, said Bryan Cheplic, city Emergency Services spokesman.
The man was taken to the Queen’s Medical Center in critical condition, police said.
