» On Oahu, campgrounds in state and county parks do not allow campers to sleep in vehicles. An article on Page G3 of Sunday’s Travel section about Hawaii Campers, which rents camper vans, did not note this restriction. Also, the website for the county’s camping information has been changed to www.honolulu.gov/parks/camping.htm. Some state and county parks on the neighbor islands do allow camping in vehicles.
