Woman injured in wake board accident in Hawaii Kai
A woman who appeared to be in her 30s was taken to the hospital in serious condition this morning after apparently falling off a wake board in Hawaii Kai.
The incident happened around 9:13 a.m. in waters between Costco and the Koko Marina Shopping Center, said Bryan Cheplic, a spokesman for the city Department of Emergency Services.
Bystanders brought her aboard a boat, performed CPR, and were able to resuscitate her, Cheplic said.
