The planned closure of Magic Island this afternoon through Saturday morning has been postponed, city officials said.
The closure had been planned to make way for filming of the $200 million Universal Studios feature film “Battleship.”
Filming at the site will be rescheduled, officials said this morning.
Scenes were to be fimed at the lagoon, with views of Diamond Head and Honolulu in the background.
