Investigators are looking into the cause of a fire that burned an agricultural warehouse and its contents last night in Volcano.

Big Island firefighters responded to the blaze on Highway 11 near the 17.5 mile marker at about 7:40 p.m. The metal warehouse was engulfed in flames when they arrived. Firefighters had the blaze under control at 8:16 p.m. and extinguished at 8:36 p.m.

Damage is estimated at $66,000 to the building and contents, which included pesticides, fertilizer and fuel.
