ATHLETES OF THE WEEK
Jordan Thibodeau
Kamehameha cross country
The senior broke the course record by more than 10 seconds to win the boys race at the Punahou Invitational. He finished with a time of 16 minutes, 18 seconds as the Warriors won the team title.
Dakota Grossman
Seabury Hall cross country
The freshman led all local runners in the girls race and finished in 19:15.55, just a fraction of a second behind Erin Robinson of Gunn (Calif.). Grossman nearly won despite a canceled flight from Maui that set her back. The meet was delayed 10 minutes to accommodate her later flight, but she had no time to warm up.
