Hawaiian Airlines parent’s earnings flat
The parent of Hawaiian Airlines posted a slightly lower profit in the third quarter but saw its revenue increase 15.2 percent.
Hawaiian Holdings Inc. said today that net income slipped 0.7 percent to $30.5 million, or 59 cents a share, compared with $30.7 million, or 58 cents a share, in the year-earlier quarter. It was the 10th straight quarterly profit for the state’s oldest carrier.
Analysts were forecasting net income of 36 cents a share.
Revenue rose to $352 million from $305.6 million.
As of Sept. 30, the company had $315.5 million in unrestricted cash and cash equivalents and $33.7 million in unrestricted cash.
