Police ask for help in finding Kalihi stabbing suspect

Honolulu police are asking for the public’s help in locating a man wanted for attempted murder in connection with a stabbing case at Kalihi Valley Homes on Oct. 11.

Police said they believe the suspect stabbed another man at about 2 a.m. on Oct. 11. Witnesses said they saw two men fighting in the back of 2122 Kalena Drive. When they intervened, one of the men fled on foot and the other collapsed with a stab wound. The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The suspect is described as in his 20s, about 5 feet 6 inches tall, with straight and long black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a yellow T-shirt.
