Cats in costumes

If you think pets in cute outfits are the cat’s meow, don’t miss the CFA Halloween Cat Show, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at McCoy Pavilion in Ala Moana Park. Top judges will be on hand for CFA-registered felines, while household cats will compete based on personality and grooming. A costume contest for all cats starts at noon. Thomas Sabo opened its doors at the Hyatt Pualeilani Atrium Shops recently, offering sterling silver and enameled jewelry and charms popular in Australia, New Zealand and Europe.

Some styles bear rock ‘n’ roll, rugged West, aquatic and pirate inspirations, making Sabo’s necklaces, rings and charms a perfect accessory for Halloween and beyond.

Sephora app is good for sample gift

Sephora has introduced a free cell phone application to put beauty advice, video demonstrations, a store locator, gift registration and power shopping at your fingertips.

A sample of Tarina Tarantino’s Pearl Glow Primer is being offered as a bonus for those who download the app. Select "shop" from the "Sephora to Go" app to get the promotion code.

In-store shoppers can also show the "Sephora to Go" icon on their phone to redeem.
