No. 4 Hawaii wins 17th straight in volleyball

Kanani Danielson had six kills and three aces in two sets as No. 4 Hawaii swept Louisiana Tech in a Western Athletic Conference volleyball match tonight at the Stan Sheriff Center, 25-13, 25-11, 25-18. 

Reserves Kristiana Tuaniga and Alexis Forsythe added five kills each, and Elizabeth Ka’aihue had 14 of the Rainbow Wahine’s 43 digs. Hawaii (22-1, 12-0) has won its last 14 matches in straight sets and hasn’t dropped a set since going four with Saint Mary’s on Sept. 11.

Clara Vido had five kills for the Lady Techsters (11-16, 0-10) after 90 minutes.
