The wins and honors keep rolling in for University of Hawaii football players.
The Western Athletic Conference today named UH quarterback Bryant Moniz and safety Mana Silva as its players of the week for offense and defense, respectively.
Moniz passed for 326 yards and three touchdowns in leading the Warriors to a 45-10 victory over Idaho, their sixth consecutive victory.
Silva had nine tackles and his interception set up Hawaii’s first touchdown.
Fellow defensive star, Corey Paredes, a linebacker who had 15 tackles and a pick against Idaho, was last week’s defensive player of the week.
UH, 7-2 overall and 5-0 in the WAC, plays at Boise State Saturday.
