Arnold Hiura, author of "Kau Kau — Cuisine & Culture in the Hawaiian Islands," will give a free reading from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Hawaii’s Plantation Village.
Hiura’s presentation will focus, aptly enough, on plantation history, complete with samples of dishes from recipes featured in the book.
