Vanessa Freitas scored 24 points as the previously winless Lancers upset the fifth-ranked Warriors in an Interscholastic League of Honolulu girls Division I basketball game last night at the Sacred Hearts gym.

Sacred Hearts (1-3) roared to a 23-9 first-period lead and led 37-22 at halftime. The Lancers then held off a Warriors rally.

Deja Tafiti scored 12, Brachelle Nueku 11 and Manuhaaipo Noa 10 for Kamehameha (1-2).
