Castle Foundation gives $2M to Castle hospital
The Harold K.L. Castle Foundation has donated $2 million to the Castle Medical Center, the largest gift ever to the medical center.
The money is to be used for renovation and expansion of the facility, as well as healthcare programs and services.
“We are very honored that the trustees of the Harold K.L. Castle Foundation have invested these precious resources in the future of health care on Windward Oahu,” the Center’s president Kevin A. Roberts said yesterday.
New projects at the medical center include completion of the interior of the first floor of the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Wing, housing a new, expanded pharmacy and a new chemotherapy center.
