A motorist who allegedly pointed a handgun at two men in another car in Kahala was arrested Wednesday  afternoon.

Two men, ages 58 and 41, told police they were driving home when another car pulled alongside them. When one of the victims looked over into the other car, the driver brandished a handgun and made a threatening gesture.

The victims saw the other car’s license plate number and called police.

The suspect, a 21-year-old Hawaii Kai man, was arrested on two counts of terroristic threatening and illegally possessing a firearm.
