A 19-year-old man, hired by a 45-year-old woman to move boxes at her Kahala home, turned himself in after confessing to stealing her iPhone and jewelry, police said.

The woman hired the man to moves boxes for a garage sale earlier this month, police said.

On Wednesday, the woman noticed items missing from her home. When she confronted the man, he confessed to taking the items and pawning them, police said.
