Meth suspect allegedly head-butts, kicks HPD officers
A 50-year-old man being arrested for investigation of promoting methamphetamine allegedly head-butted one Honolulu police officer and kicked another early this morning in Waikiki, police said.
The officers were treated at the Queen’s Medical Center and released in good condition.
They were investigating a complaint that the man was trying to sell methamphetamine around 12:45 a.m. this morning, police said.
The officers placed the man under arrest when he allegedly struck the two officers, police said.
The man was arrested on suspicion of third-degree promotion of a dangerous drug, contempt of court and two counts of first-degree assault against a law enforcement officer.
