Hawaii Supreme Court to hear case at UH law school

The Hawaii Supreme Court is hearing oral arguments at the University of Hawaii William S. Richardson School of Law for the first time next week.

Court officials said justices will hear discussion of the case at the university Tuesday as part of the court’s efforts to make proceedings more accessible to the public. The justices normally consider arguments in court in downtown Honolulu.

Justices will hear half-hour presentations from attorneys in an appeal of a 2008 conviction of a person convicted of driving under the influence of an intoxicant.

The case is State v. Tominiko.
