Armed robbers flee Kaimuki store when alarm sounds
Two men tried to rob Kaimuki Video at gunpoint Friday, but fled empty-handed after an alarm sounded.
The men, believed to be in their 20s, entered the Waialae Avenue store and demanded money from a 39-year-old woman working at the counter about 10:30 a.m., police said.
One of the men pointed a handgun at the woman.
Police said the men fled in a waiting vehicle after an alarm was sounded.
