Hawaii sweeps Cal Baptist in volleyball
Jonas Umlauft put down 18 kills and Joshua Walker added 10 as No. 9 Hawaii swept Cal Baptist, the top-ranked team in the NAIA, 25-21, 25-21, 25-17 in a nonconference men’s volleyball match tonight at the Stan Sheriff Center.
The Warriors (4-6) hit .486 with seven services aces, two each by Brennon Dyer and Walker. Sebastien Steigmeier had 13 kills for the Lancers (10-4).
The teams meet again tomorrow at 5 p.m. at War Memorial Gym in Wailuku Maui.
