Authorities charged a 38-year-old Hilo man with first-degree terroristic threatening, two counts of kidnapping, two counts of abuse of a family or household member and two counts of harassment involving two women, ages 50 and 23.

Police arrested Robert Eaton shortly after 7 p.m. Saturday after a report of domestic violence that occurred earlier in the day.

The two women reported being assaulted, threatened and held against their will in the home they shared with Eaton.

Eaton is being held in lieu of $116,000 bail at the Hilo police cellblock, and is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday in South Hilo District Court.
