Aaron Jones homered and Danny Pulfer scored the eventual winning run on a throwing error to lead No. 15 Oregon to a 4-3 victory over Hawaii tonight in a game shortened to eight innings.

The Ducks (2-2) had a midnight red-eye flight so the game was called after eight.

Alex Keudell (1-0) struck out nine and allowed two runs in five innings to earn the win that gave Oregon a split of the series.

Jarrett Arakawa (0-1) took the loss for the Rainbows, allowing two runs in relief of starter Jesse Moore.

Moore gave up two runs on four hits in 4 1/3 innings.

Kolten Wong and Collin Bennett had two hits apiece to lead the ’Bows (2-2), who host No. 6 Texas for a three-game series beginning on Friday.
