Big Island police seek missing man with medical condition
Big Island police are looking for a 53-year-old man who was last seen leaving his Hilo residence and had planned to visit Maui with a stopover in Honolulu.
Anson Bert Cordero has a medical condition that requires medication, police said.
He was last seen in Hilo around 10 a.m. Sunday heading to Hilo Airport. Cordero is described as Hawaiian, about 5-foot-2, about 150-160 pounds with brown eyes, a dark complexion, and curly black hair worn in a short pony tail. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt with black pants.
Big Island police ask that anyone with information about this case call Officer Crystal Kekela at 961-8112 or the police department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.
Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous should call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
