Festival taking to Waikiki streets

The 17th Annual Honolulu Festival will be held March 11-13.

Live performances will take place at four sites: Hawaii Convention Center, Ala Moana Center, Waikiki Beach Walk and Waikiki Shopping Plaza.

The festival concludes with a Grand Parade through the streets of Waikiki on March 13.

Waikiki’s Queen Kapiolani Hotel is offering a room and golf package that includes 18-holes of play at the Ewa Beach Golf Club for two people, plus a golf cart rental.

The hotel recently completed more than $5 million in renovations and upgrades. Room rates start at $131 per night for weekdays and $151 for weekends for a city view room with a two-night minimum stay.
