Looks like Rip Taylor‘s one-man show, "It Ain’t All Confetti," is heading to the Hawaii Theatre sometime in July, according to the theater’s Burton White. Taylor will kibitz, do shtick and drop names (of stars he’s worked with on stage, on TV, in films). The confetti king, who found his way back into the second-sequel finale of the "Jackass" film franchise (he missed the first sequel, since he was not available at the precise shooting time), is ready to uncork his bottled autobiographical show in the paradise he adores. This would be a busman’s holiday, with beach time and visits to Keo’s Thai Cuisine on Taylor’s agenda, without and with his hairpieces. …

"Tell my friends to see me as the ‘Black Swan,’" he told me the other day. Translation: He recently "did" Natalie Portman — hard to believe — in a "Jackass Presents" tribute/parody (posted at www.riptaylor.com) with Taylor as the ballerina (yes, with feathers) and "Jackass" star Johnny Knoxville as ballet director (the Vincent Cassell role) shouting "attack … seduce" and a handful of "Jackass" jokesters in tutus. "Johnny and the cast did it with me at the Critics Choice Awards, and Natalie was there," said Taylor of the newly crowned Oscar winner. Outrageous, indeed. …

PERSONALITIES: Restaurateur Roy Yamaguchi, founder-chef of the flagship Roy’s Restaurant (with franchises here and abroad), will tie the knot with Denise Hayashi Oct. 22 and party at the Halekulani Hotel. …

Colbie Caillat ("Bubbly") and Justin Young (the localite who toured with Caillat) were recent diners at Roy’s Waikiki. And over at Roy’s Hawaii Kai, Daniel Dae Kim ("Lost," "Hawaii Five-0") and Jorge Garcia ("Lost" and in the "Mr. Sunshine" pilot) had a quiet reunion. …

Elton John and partner David Furnish brought their son Zachary (with several nannies) on their recent island visit, which included two sellout shows at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center. The tot even was at the Oscars, though not partying with dad. …

Actor John Travolta celebrated his 57th birthday with isle-born wife, Kelly Preston, and daughter, Ella Bleu, on Kauai — and they’re pictured in the current People magazine. Travolta’s so at home here, he’s not wearing his hairpiece. The couple have a new baby, Benjamin. …

Same issue of People has Danno — that’s Scott Caan of "Hawaii Five-0" — showing skin in beach duds and catching a wave, normally the MO of Kono (co-star Grace Park) for the CBS cameras. …

ON THE AVENUE: The puppets in "Avenue Q," a hit at Manoa Valley Theatre (extended two weeks, through April 3), are not actors, nor are they costumes or props — so enter the "puppet doctor," Anna Viggiano, who visits MVT once a week to refresh, repair and restore the figures as needed (a fluff-up, an eyeball touch-up). By day, Viggiano — a pal of the show’s director, Bree Bumatai — is an education specialist for the Gifted & Talented Program at the Department of Education who studied puppetry with Pam Arciero (Grundgetta, girlfriend of Oscar the Grouch on "Sesame Street"), the puppeteering consultant who shared "Q" tips with the MVT cast. One of the doc’s first tasks was stitching on a detached arm of actor Elitei Tatafu Jr.‘s puppet, Princeton, the lead character, who lost the limb during a vigorous rehearsal. THE LOCAL ANGLE: A Fitzgeralds Casino radio campaign, under way through May 28 in Las Vegas, has island roots. The promo, offering a luxury train ride and wine tour through the Rocky Mountains as the Fitz’s grand prize, was conceived by Faye Muranaka, formerly of KGMB-KHNL and The Honolulu Advertiser and now advertising and marketing manager at the hotel. She produced and wrote the spot and tapped Audy Kimura, the Hy’s entertainer, to compose, record and shape the audio elements with Maila Gibson singing the tag line, "Luck lives here — at the Fitz." Al Vanik, who lived in the islands until 2005 and still is heard in voice work for HawaiiNewsNow, did the voice-over. …

OK, "The King’s Speech" topped "The Social Network" for best picture in last week’s Oscars, but I got the other picks right. …
