Man robbed of wallet while walking in Waipahu
An elderly man was robbed of his wallet while walking along the sidewalk in the industrial section of Waipahu last night.
The victim, 78, said he was struck in the head by an undescribed metal object while walking along Leonui Street near the Leoole Street intersection around 10:20 p.m. He was taken to Hawaii Medical Center West where he was treated and released.
The robber is believed to have been a man in his 30s.
