Fire causes $40,000 damage to Nanakuli townhouse
Honolulu firefighters put out a blaze that caused $40,000 damage to a Nanakuli townhouse tonight.
The two-alarm fire was reported at 87-1550 Farrington Highway at 6:23 p.m. Firefighters extinguished it at 6:48 p.m.
Fire Capt. Terry Seelig said the fire started outside a unit and damaged the exterior and contents.
No one was was home at the time of the fire in in the Garden Groves complex.
