New Hawaii flights start Sunday
Alaska Airlines will start nonstop service to Lihue, Kauai from San Jose, Calif. Sunday and to Lihue from Oakland on Monday.
The San Jose flights will operate three times weekly while there will be four weekly Oakland flights. The flights to Lihue arrive at 10:29 a.m., while return flights to San Jose and Oakland arrive at 10:40 p.m., local time.
With the new service, Alaska Airlines will have 105 weekly round-trip flights to Hawaii.
