Two drivers on Kauai were arrested for investigation of drunken driving after crashing head-on with each other Saturday.

Kevin Anderson, 46, of Koloa, was driving a pickup truck eastbound on Koloa Road just past Omao Road about 2 a.m. when he hit an oncoming station wagon driven by Ellen Yadao, 35, of Kalaheo, a Kauai County news release said.

Anderson and Yadao had minor injuries and were treated at the scene.

Police detected alcohol on both drivers and arrested them on suspicion of driving under the influence of an intoxicant.
