Police say a Waipahu man assaulted another man at self storage facility
Police arrested a 25-year-old Waipahu man on suspicion of second-degree attempted murder in connection with an alleged attack with a bat.
The man got into an argument with a 37-year-old man at the Waikele Self Storage at 8:30 a.m. Monday.
He allegedly punched the man in the jaw and knocked him unconscious, police said.
He then retrieved a bat, allegedly struck him with the bat, threw rocks at him and chased and hit him with a car, Pearl City police said.
Police said the older man was treated for his injuries and released.
Police arrested the 25-year-old at 1:03 p.m. Monday in Waipahu.
