A 28-year-old man is in custody after he allegedly threatened and assaulted his girlfriend with a dangerous instrument.
The incident occurred in Kalihi around 7 a.m. Saturday.
According two police, the two people were arguing when the man threatened the woman and assaulted her with an unidentified instrument, causing bodily injury. He was arrested for second-degree terroristic threatening and second-degree assault.
