Monsarrat Avenue in Waikiki reopened to traffic this morning after a Board of Water Supply crew finished repairing the road and a 6-inch water main break.

Seven customers were without service for seven hours after the main break in the 3000 block of  Monsarrat avenue last night at about 11 last night. Crews repaired the pipe at 6 this morning, a spokeswoman for the board said.

The makai-bound lane of Monsarrat Avenue was closed until 8:45 this morning because of the repair work to the road.
