Honolulu police have charged a 51-year-old Kapolei man with stabbing his 58-year-old girlfriend Sunday night at his home.

Police said the couple got into an argument at a home on Olani Street in Ko Olina about 8:25 p.m. when the man pulled a knife and allegedly stabbed his girlfriend several times in the chest with a knife. The woman was taken in serious condition to the Queen’s Medical Center.

Salvador Sierra was charged last night with second-degree attempted murder. He is being held on $50,000 bail.
