The hit cop drama “Hawaii Five-0” will return for a second season this fall at its same time and day, CBS officially announced today.

The announcement was no surprise. “Five-0” was one of the top new dramas of the past season, frequently winning its hour. It airs at 9 p.m. Mondays on KGMB.

Peter Lenkov, the show’s executive producer, said fans of the show can expect a lot of new mysteries, character development and maybe even trips to the neighbor islands. He has already scouted on Lanai.

Production crews should be back in June with shooting to begin in July, Lenkov said.
