Police find drugs, stun gun in Kona home raid

Big Island police raided a Kailua-Kona home for drugs Tuesday and arrested a 62-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman on suspicion of promoting dangerous drugs.

They searched a Marlin Road home at 10:50 p.m. and found 5 grams of packaged methamphetamine, cocaine residue, drug paraphernalia and an electric stun gun.

Police also recovered $580 in cash.

James Sanitago, 62, was charged Tuesday night with numerous drug and drug paraphernalia charges and one count of possession of an electric stun gun.

He was released from police custody after posting $71,000 bail.
Police released the woman without charges after consulting with prosecutors.
