Honolulu police are asking for the public’s help in finding a 22-year-old prisoner who escaped during a visit to his dentist.

Ray Delos Santos received an order of temporary release from Oahu Correctional Community Center for a dental appointment in Kailua on May 6.

An authorized sponsor picked him up and drove him to his appointment, but before leaving the dentist, Delos Santos asked to use the restroom and fled, police said.

He is wanted for escape and three $20,000 probation revocation warrants.

Delos Santos is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 180 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 955-3800 or *CRIME from a cell phone.
