Escapee back in custody after eight months
A 39-year-old woman, who escaped from a work furlough program, is back in custody after spending eight months on the lam.
Police said the woman failed to return to the Women’s Community Correctional Center on Oct. 18, but turned herself in just before noon Friday. She was booked on suspicion of second-degree escape.
