Mo-ped rider hit by bus in Kailua
A city Emergency Medical Services supervisor said a 17-year-old mo-ped rider was struck by a city bus on Keolu Drive Tuesday evening. Police said the rider’s condition was later upgraded to serious.
Police reported at 7:44 p.m. they had closed Keolu Drive between Maunalani Street and Akalani Loop to investigate.
