Police ask for help finding missing Hilo man, 69

Hawaii County police asked for the public’s help in finding a 69-year-old Hilo man reported as missing.

Robert Johns was last seen in Hilo Saturday morning. He has a medical condition that requires medication, police said.

Wade is described as 5 feet 11 and 145 pounds, with a thin build and a tan complexion. He has short white hair and brown eyes. He is possibly driving an older-model black Toyota pickup truck and may have two dogs with him.

Police ask that anyone with information on his whereabouts call the police non-emergency line at 935-3311. People who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona.
