Crews reach injured hiker near Pali Lookout
Rescue crews assisted a man who injured his leg while hiking alone near the Pali Lookout and was stuck on a ridge, fire Capt. Robert Main said.
The man, in his 20s, was stuck half-way up the ridgeline half-a-mile east-southeast of the Pali Lookout Sunday, Main said.
Main said rescue personnel were able to coax the man down from the ridge and escort him to an area where he could be evacuated by helicopter.
The man was transferred to Emergency Medical Services in an unspecified condition.
