Death of man whose skeletal remains were found in Palolo is ruled a suicide

The death of a man whose skeletal remains were found along a hiking trail in Palolo Valley last month has been ruled a suicide.

The city Department of the Medical Examiner identified him as a 38-year-old Honolulu man.

His remains were found Aug. 15. Authorities are not saying how long they think he has been dead.
