Firefighters guide family lost on Maunawili trail
Honolulu Fire Department rescue crews assisted a family of four out of the Maunawili Falls hiking trail Friday night.
The couple and two young children lost their way in the darkness and called for help about 7:30 p.m., said Honolulu fire Capt. Gary Lum.
Fire rescue crews walked into the trail, found them about 15 minutes into the path, and escorted them out, Lum said.
No one was injured.
