The two right lanes on Alapai Street between South King and Beretania streets will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. today during roadway construction.

City officials said Thursday that a contractor will be restoring an asphalt road section and removing steel plates.

They advise motorists to use caution in this area.

Bus patrons who normally using Alapai Street bus stops should use a temporary bus stop within the Alapai Transit Center because the buses will be re-routed to enter from South King Street, officials said.

For more bus information, go to www.thebus.org or call 848-5555.
