Man arrested for allegedly threatening girlfriend with knife
Police arrested a 38-year-old Makakilo man early Monday for allegedly holding his girlfriend against her will and threatening her with a knife late Sunday.
Police said the two got into an argument while driving in the Sandy Beach area about 6 p.m. Sunday. He would not let her get out of the car. At one point, the man held a knife on her and also pushed her face against the car window, police said.
The man, of a Makakilo Drive address, was being held pending charges of kidnapping, first-degree terroristic threatening and third-degree assault.
