Hauula man arrested after girlfriend choked
Police arrested a 32-year-old Hauula man Tuesday for investigation of a September incident in which he allegedly choked his live-in girlfriend until she passed out.
Police said the man and woman, 31, were arguing at their home on Sept. 21 when the man began choking the victim. The suspect turned himself in to police custody Tuesday.
He is being held pending a charge of abuse of a family/household member.
