A 37-year-old man got into a brief struggle with security guards when he tried to leave without paying for a breakfast at a Waikiki hotel Tuesday morning, police said.

The suspect, who  has no local address, walked into the Embassy Suites hotel on Beachwalk street at 7 a.m. and ate a meal prepared for guests, police said. A struggle broke out between the security guards and the suspect when he tried to leave without paying, police said. The suspect is being held on suspicion of first-degree burglary.
